    Lets talk off-season

    1. Who should we draft?
    2. Who should we resign?
    3. Who should we sign?
    4. Who should we release?
    5. Who should we trade?
    6. Who should be unprotected for expansion?

    1. Who should we draft? Ben Gordon/Jameer Nelson/Carl Krauser/Sebastian Telfair
    2. Who should we resign? Eric Williams
    3. Who should we sign? Chris Andersen (Bird Man)
    4. Who should we release? Boumtje Boumtje, let Bremer walk (FA)
    5. Who should we trade? Ilgauskas (One more year left on deal)
    6. Who should be unprotected for expansion? Battie (knees), Ollie (if we get one of those rookie point guards) Newble, Brown

Some other free agents: Quentin Richardson, Manu Ginobili, Rafer Alston, Stromile Swift ®, Brent Barry, Gordan Giricek, Wesley Person

I would bust a nut over getting Q or Manu, but I will be more realistic since we have to pay Carlos Boozer a lot of money and prepair to max out James down the road.

Cav's actually have a low salary cap don't they? They should be able to sign a top-free agent next year. Q might be a good posibility. I for one am aiming towards Desmond Mason and Mo Pete.

Mo Pete would be a great role player off the bench. Stro is nice too, he can bring back some of the showtime we lost this year from RickyD and DMiles.

Why is everyone talking about the off-season when the Cavs look like a playoff contender. KJ, Telfair isnt going to be in the draft he's going to college

Because playoff talk has been posted to death. Why not talk about off season?

    Q isn't a free agent until next season's end, he's signed through 04-05.

He's at least restricted, this list may not be completely accurate.

Actually I am very pleased on how the Cavs are playing as of late. But just like everyone else thinks, we could be better.

The offseason is coming whether or not the Cavs make the playoffs. Nothing wrong with making some conjectures about the future. Don't want to stick my nose in where it doesn't belong, just thought I would throw my two cents in if I may:

Draft? = No flashy backcourt players like Telfair - If Bron is moving to the two, Jameer Neslon would be ideal for this team.
Re-sign? = Williams, McInnis (team needs a viable veteran PG)
    Sign? = Brent Barry
    Release? = Boumtje-Boumtje
    Trade? = Ilquaskas, Battie
    Unprotected? = See KJ's list...

I think that Cavs have a good players now. But we should change sm/sth. IMO Iluglauskas is not good guy for this fast, selfish (individual type of playing) team. Dallas Mavs want Z for Jamison. Maybe it was rumour but i like this trade. So we can have another good player for SF posision. But it will be problem with Center. Tony Battie can play on that posision but he isnt a good player for team which want to be in Play-offs. It will be hard desion for GM what we are doing in offseason, but i think that it wont be a lot of changes.

    4. Who should we release? Boom-Boom

I believe it said he was not, and I have heard talks about him being free all year, but I have reason to trust your word as well because you should know better than me because you are out there.

Haha what a terrible comparison. I'd say Hakim is a D. Wilkens w/o a jumper.
