    Golden state 19-0.

I'd love to see them make it at least to 20-0, for a round number. 25-0, even better... but 6 straight road games on top of the road game last night.

    I'm excited for them.

    Who breaks their streak first?

    Golden State or Philly?

That franchise dealt with crap for so long. They deserve some prolonged success.

that is true. But so does the Clippers, Cavs, Blazers...ironically enough each coming into the league in the same year.

Only one team can be the champ each year... if it aint gonna be us, I'm gonna root for GS until we dethrone them. :)

The Clippers went down the road to the dark side. They're the whiniest, floppiest, cry babiest team in the league.

    haha.

Well the philly/lakers game is today. GS/hornets is tomorrow.

Though, the cheapest ticket to the philly/lakers game is 34 bucks. THIRTY four dollars to see two teams that are a combined 2-32.

I don't know all this first hand, just from reading about it.

But there was another team that took the league by storm with its unselfish play and fast paced-game. They preached teamwork and had a transcendent star. They came out of nowhere to win a title and captivated the region. The following year, they came out of the gate like gang busters and started the season with 50 wins to 10 losses.

The team's transcendent star then got hurt and that roster and team broke apart just as quickly as it had come together. That potential dynasty was forever ruined. We all know what team that was. I'm guessing Golden State's current coach is vaguely familiar with that team.

    Hoping history doesn't repeat itself.

Big guys have such perilous careers. Their feet, especially, are so prone to injury. Yao is another great example of a truly gifted big guy who had his career cut short. Shaq and Duncan are two great examples of big guys who stayed healthy and remained dominant for long periods of time.

Perhaps January 30th when the Sixers visit Golden State? That would be bizarre!

I just noticed that Phil Pressey is getting backup PG minutes with the 76ers.
