    Figured I'd make this for October/November since October's schedule is so short. 4 more days until we kick the season off, 3 days for some other teams! Regardless of how the Blazers do, I'm looking forward to what should be an exciting season around the league. San Antonio went all in by getting David West and Aldridge. Spurs will open Wednesday in OKC at 5 pm on ESPN. However I for one believe their moves are in vain as LBJ, Love, Kyrie and the Cavs should be the favorites to win it all. Cleveland opens Tuesday in Chicago at 5pm on TNT.

    Utah, Phoenix, New Orleans, Three young teams in the west which have spent years improving and rebuilding are now hungry for a playoff spot. And then there's us, a team in rebuild, but will it be a quicker turn around than many would predict?

    Here's to a great NBA season with good health all around, and plenty of excitement.

    Good to see this thread Fonz! I think this will be a season where the younger, under the radar teams play the most fun brand of basketball...I think the Blazers/Pelicans is going to be the best game on that night! Go Blazers!

    I feel bad for the pelicans. They open the season with a back to back on the road. Imagine how much bitching there would be in this forum if that was us. Looking forward to the season!

    Once Irving is healthy the Cavs will be dastardly. They may have lost but they have it all for a team to win a championship.

    Anthony Davis is the only dude in the league who can push Bogut in the back without retaliation. Even Bogut knows that AD is the GOAT.
