who do you think the magic will sign in the offseason? what positions should they pursue?

jermaine o neal said his 3 options of places to play are indiana, san antonio and orlando. i know it's a long shot and i really shouldn't say anything, but hopefully we can get him. i doubt we will, so all you pacer fans don't come here and go psycho on me saying how we're not gonna get him.

also one of my fellow magic fans(i'm trying to get him on these boards), is very very smart, and normally what he says comes true, and he mentioned something about the magic signing gary payton.

drew gooden and JO playin together...I dunno if it will work but Gooden played next to Gasol so i don't kno if he'll get the points he gets now playin beside JO....the magic won't sign GP tho...GP will try and go big...the Bucks AIN'T for him...so there's no chance of him goin back to Milwaukee

with zo healthy we would be pretty good. hopefully we can sign him for cheap and get rid of jacque vaughn.

as long as zo is healthy enough to play 60 games and avg 13 and 10 we would be in good shape. and he teaches the young guys how to play.

don't ask me that [IMG] , i wish i knew the answer. if i was the coach this is what my roster would have been

starting lineup
pg-darell armstrong(we saved him for playoffs, so we need to use him)
sg-tmac(no shit)
sf-gordan giricek
pf-drew gooden
c-steven hunter(give him so experience, since he's our center for the future)

bench
6. garrity(gives us the 3 point shooting)
7. declerq(gives us a banger and a huge hustler off the bench)
8. whitney(same as garrity)
9. sasser(gives us defense on billups/rip)
10. kemp(gives us playoff experience, veteran leadership, and a nice 15 foot shot)
11. jacque vaughn(use him as a passer to set up shooters)
12. pat burke(great bench warmer, tmac and gooden's ass are very warm and cozy with him sitting there)

Right now, they need to

Draft the best avaliable player in this order

1. wade
2. barbosa
3. ridnour
4. gaines
5. hinrich

or trade up to get tj ford or get wade or barbosa.

sign olowakandi to mid-level exception

sign maggette to injury exception

sign daniels to low exception

our starting lineup would look like this

pg-daniels(until barbosa learns english)
sg-tmac
sf-maggette
pf-gooden
c-kandi

or if we want we could start giricek, maggette, and tmac with tmac as pg.

our bench would have giricek, garrity, declerq, hunter, sasser, darell, barbosa(until he learns english). which to me is pretty deep.

I hope we get JERMAINE O'NEAL to I think he is the missing peace to our playoff run. I dont think he will resign with INDIANA because he said his family dont like the wheather their and his family will be a big part on wheir he goes. I think that SAN ANTONIO will be looking for a big man who can play off of TIM DUNCAN like BRAD MILLER, OLOWAKANDI or, ELTON BRAND not someone who needs the ball down-low all the time like J-O.

OLOWAKANDI would be nice to but he will wont the MAX and ORLANDO cant pay him that but with J-O he just wont to win a ring and what better place to go than ORLANDO plus we have great wheather a year round.

The line up will look like this
C-JERMAINE O'NEAL
PF-DREW GOODEN
SF-GORGAN GIRICEK
SG-TRACY McGRADY
PG-LEANDRINHO BARBOSA

The MAGIC wins the EAST and beat the KINGS in 6 games in the NBA finals.

GO MAGIC!!!!!!!

i agree with blackhaven's prediction if we get that lineup, but i don't think its' too likely to get him. i'm still hoping we will, but i don't want to get my hopes up(like duncan 3 years ago)
