The +/- with Dame off the Court, in the next two months i'm gonna pay attention to how our team does when Dame sits in the 2nd and at the beginning of the 4th Quarter. Obviously when Dame is on the court we will always have a chance, the question is can we survive the minutes without Dame?
With CJ out we now are either going to prime the shooting pump of our role players into something consistent or lose games...there's no choice....Ant, GT, Hoodie, DJJ and Roco need to score.....Melo will score but he's better with some help off the bench in that dept....Kanter will get his but Giles probably won't shoot much
Let's not focus on the reference to "+/-" (oh noes!)--instead pay attention to the overall point: how the team performs when Dame is sitting will have a big impact on how the season goes as a whole. Do you disagree with this claim? If so, why?
Well put. The +/- stat to prove some bench player was really good in a game is totally worthless. To use it over a large period of time to see how a team preforms with their best player off the court is valid.
