Would you rather have a one point loss like tonight, where we could have won the game, but blew it, or have a 20 point loss, where we get blown out?

Obviously, the one point loss shows that we're a better team, but which is more devastating in the aftermath?

I'm just asking because it seems we tend to overreact a little when we lose a game. (Guilty)

Oh, and remember, there's no such thing as a bad loss! :ghoti:

when you lose at the buzzer, you wished you had just got blown out so your hopes don't get crushed
    but
when you lose by 20, all you wish for was to make it close; to have a chance

you're damned if you do and damned if you don't, it's a catch 22.

One. At least we're being competitive. It's something to build off of. There's probably a lot fewer tweaks to be done with a one point loss than a twenty point loss.

I get mad about a loss like tonight, but I get terribly pissed when the team seems to just suck ass. So one point for me.

There's no debate on this really. If you have any sense of competitiveness you have to say 1-point loss, even though it's a bit harder to stomach because it was right there.

Every loss is an opportunity to learn from your mistakes so it's best to get a wide variety of them.

From a spectator's view I'd have to say I enjoy when it looks like we're getting blown out because that's when the bench gets more run, and in general they are much more fun to watch.

Let's keep dominating at home and then we can tell everyone that we're unbeatable at home unless you make a lucky heave off glass. I'd much rather have the one point loss.
