4 away games and 7 home games. Not bad. The Pac-12 north championship game is probably an extra home game at that too, unless USC goes undefeated.

Wow, 5 out of their first 6 games at Autzen.

Why do we get 3 more home games than road games? How does that work?

It's nice that we got a big name SEC team to come to Autzen, but that game at USC will be HUGE time for some revenge!

    It's Tennessee TECH. :)

We have more home games because we pay teams like Arkansas State, Fresno State and Tennessee Tech to come in and get their butts kicked.

Arkansas State actually has improved lately and Michael Dyer (remember him in the BCS Title game?) just transferred there. Hopefully he doesn't beat us again. Haha.

Which means if we beat Arkansas State, we have a better chance of rising in the ranks.

But still, none of those schools are SEC teams

You're totally right about no SEC teams. I think he might have read it as "Tennessee" without the "Tech" part. But just a guess. :)

Arkansas State has improved, and is a dangerous opponent as far as smaller programs go, but it still will be more of a black eye if we lose than a feather in our cap if we win.

Oh, I thought the schedule said Arkansas, and that we'd finally been able to book a big name team to come to Autzen.

@USC looks like the only challenging game of the season.

I think that the last four (or five, including the P12 championship game) are all pretty tough games.

I don't think Stanford will have a winning season without Luck, the Beavers suck, the Bears are ok, but no match for the Ducks. And the title game will almost certainly be a tough match against USC. It would be sweet to beat them twice in one year.

Stanford pulled in a better recruiting class than we did filling almost all areas that they needed to replace. They will still be good and I wouldn't be shocked to see them rattle of 8 or 9 wins

But do they have a good QB?

I don't see one as good as Luck, and their only options with players with most experience running their Offenses are Robbie Picazo and Josh Nunes.

The question is can USC beat us twice and can we beat them twice? The National Champioship hangs on that answer. Gotta feel good that the national championship is always in discussion for our Ducks now....

Beating USC there is HUGE, cause it puts the Pac-12 Championship in Autzen! Where it BELONGS!!!

We did lose some key starters(LMF, D-Thomas) but so did USC(Perry, Kalil) but USC has Matt Barkely and many project them to be #1 next season and easy Natty contenders.

My guess is that somewhere along the line, Bama and LSU may slip up, Oklahoma would choke(what a surprise) and it will come down to these 4 teams for the Natty.
USC, Oregon, Michigan(if Michigan beats Alabama in the opener), and either LSU or Alabama(because either one of them can rebound).

Basically, the West will be decided in the Coliseum.

He's reportedly asking for a waiver. We'll see if he gets one.

Why on earth would he get a waiver? Because his offensive coordinator went to another school? He played for Auburn this past season. If he gets a waiver, that opens up a huge can of worms for players being able to follow a coach to another FBS school.

    EDIT -
132 miles from Little Rock to Jonesboro; 482 miles from Auburn to Little Rock.

Man, I just don't think that one is going to fly for the NCAA. Why would him playing matter since he also has a redshirt season available to him? Wouldn't sitting out as a transfer actually give him more time to visit his sick family member in Little Rock?

unless they claim that It would help with said family member being able to see their child/grandchild/relative play? Doubt that would fly though. I think thats what they argued with Seastrunk in Baylor
