Well, I think if the Ducks end the season with a Pac12 championship and only one defeat that came halfway into the season, to a team they likely have to beat to win that championship... that should put them in the playoffs especially because Ohio State or Michigan will have a more recent loss when the committee picks who the four teams are. So I don't think the outcome of today's Oregon State v Washington game has any effect on if Oregon will make the playoffs, it will just determine what Oregon is ranked next week.
I see ylur point, even if Husky were to lose today, if they beat the Ducks again anyway it wont matter
The worry is if Bama beat Georgia and now they’re a one loss and you have to try to beat out Georgia for a spot. There is definitely an east coast bias. It could be tOSU, FSU, Bama and then you’re trying to beat out Georgia and if Washington is only like rank 8 then the win doesn’t look as good.
13-0 Michigan beats OSU, barely 13-0 FSU and the ACC champion 12-1 Alabama beats Georgia for SEC title, barely (those 3 above would be in, for certain) 12-1 Texas - Big-12 champion 12-1 Georgia is two-time national champion 12-1 Oregon is Pac-12 champion 11-1 Ohio State I can easily see Oregon getting screwed Oregon' two big wins over Utah and USC have lost a lot of gravity over the last 2 weeks; a lot I think it actually might be better if the Ducks pick up 2 wins over top-10 teams (OSU/UofW) in their final two games
Best thing to happen to the PAC-12 is it being disbanded because the officiating is complete and utter bullshit.
...so all season long he has been subbed into the game for the 3rd or 4th drive of the game "to get him 1st half experience vs starting defenses" -- he only gets one drive no matter what the outcome is and it's usually a nice TD drive (vs inferior defense) -- or a sack fest (vs superior defense)
For years, I’ve watched horrible calls go against the Ducks as front runners. Like the officials were like, “we don’t want the PAC-12 to be amongst the champions”. Other leagues, they are more fair or push their front runners. No wonder the PAC-12 splitting up. I’d leave too. I hope the pac-12 refs get shat on. And sat on (by HCP - that’ll teach ‘em). This game is horrendous.
