Discuss. Are there even any Orlando Magic fans here? Or will I get swarmed by a whole heap of Laker fans from making this thread. If we win this one tonight expect there to be a lot of rumble involving the Orlando Magic and their championship hopes. We're on the road tonight, but that hasn't seemed to stop us previously. It's a winnable game, a hard one at that.

More or less discussing the game with mostly Laker fans as apposed to Orlando Magic fans. Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind discussing the game as long as it's with some fans that see what I see.

I was knocking ORL earlier in the year because while they did have a good record it was mostly against crappy teams. I think they actually had the easiest SOS when they faced POR in POR. Lets see if the Lakers (couch Vlad cough) read the scouting report and dont leave wide open 3pt shooters. We really shouldnt double Dwight, Bynum should relatively hold his own on the defensive end

And you're wrong. Tonight if you want to win you're going to have to double up Dwight Howard and hope our shooters are off. We're in great shooting form right now so I doubt that's going to happen. I'm just hoping Jameer Nelson comes out to ball tonight. If he plays like he has been the last few weeks we could get over the line. Oh, and let's hope them threes come falling down.

Re: Orlando Magic @ Los Angeles Lakers: [1/16] Well I disagree...obviously. We probably will double Dwight since Kurt Rambis who runs our defense tends to want that. IMO Dwight is just too good to bother doing that. An occasional double here and there is okay, but it shouldnt be our defensive focus. Bynum is a good defender when he puts his heart into it. Dwight will get his, just hope Bynum makes him really work for it. The Lakers are a better team than just "hoping your 3's will miss". The Lakers can do something about it if they come in with the right gameplan.
