They're saying that it's because he reinjured his ankle in last night's game. In reality, I suspect that his ass hurts from the kicking Dame gave him. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...rt-defend-nba-all-star-skills-challenge-title
Is that what people are calling it now? "Kicking"? Beverly probably had trouble walking today, but I don't think it was from kicking.
Beverly is an idiot. He wants to be an irritant, an in-your-face kind of presence with attitude. He's like Gary Payton without the skills. Bev may want to realize that irritating Lillard may not be such a great strategy.
So, if the NBA calls Dame and asks him to take Beverly's place in the Skills Competition, does he do it to show he's a good sport and to play along side CJ, or does he tell them to pound sand?
Good choice for Beverly...would be embarrassing for him to enter a skills competition when he clearly lacks skills
Every time he did it last night we went on a run that was led by Dame hitting shots or making great passes for easy buckets. Beverley was our MVP. He got us fired up.
Shows how little attention I pay to all star stuff. Also shows how little most NBA players care about being in it.
Even if Lillard were playing in the ASG he probably wouldn't want to take a chance on diminishing his legacy in the skills. Right now it's pretty big cred on his resume
