A couple of questions? Where in L.A. are you staying? L.A. is pretty big but I will definitely give you some suggestion:
    1. Bars: Dillion's in Hollywood, Dublin's in Dowtown L.A., Happy Endings (Hollywood),
    2. Clubs: depends on how much you want to spend but if you want to hang with beatiful people, Drai's, Playhouse, XIV.
    3. Eats / Rests: All the bar places i just mentioned, but you also definitely have to try In N' Out and PINKS.
    4. Place to stay ( funk / hip factor ): The Standard (West Hollywood), The W, (Hollywood), The Roosevelt (Hollywood).

The Standard and The W are wonderful hotels.

If you have time, take a trip to the OC, you won't regret it. We have great food almost anywhere along the coast a tad inland, guaranteed. And the places here are great. I used to loathe the OC when I was an Inland Empire guy (mainly cause of the pompous, rich folk), but once you live there, my lord, it's a blessing.
