Anyone play fantasy? This is my first year... here are my starters and 2 bench players. I feel good about this team! PG - Deron Williams \ Jason Kidd \ Raymond Felton SG - Kevin Durant \ O.J. Mayo \ Kirk Hinrich SF - Shawn Marion \ Leul Deng PF - Lamar Odom \ Micheal Beasley C - Al Jefferson \ Emeka Okafor \ Chris Kaman What are your rosters?
I got this for my first ESPN roster: PG: Devin Harris / TJ Ford / Jameer Nelson SG: Joe Johnson / Brandon Roy SF: Carmelo Anthony / Andres Nocioni / Al Thornton PF: Tim Duncan / Antawn Jamison / LaMarcus Aldridge C: Dwight Howard / Tyson Chandler It was a live draft with 12 people in the league....
Welcome to fantasy, as a fantasy player there are just a few rules to remember when asking for advice or team ratings. How big is your league, how many of your players play each week, and what is your league setup (roto, h2h, h2h points). That said your team looks good in Blocks and rebounds and should do well in asts although your Sg's won't provide many while Odom is above average from the center. Also both of your SG's are going to destroy your FG% but Durant did start making better decisions towards the end of the year.
It is an 8 team league, H2H points, we play 7 players per week So if all goes well injury wise, I will be playing.. D.Will Durant Odom Marion Jefferson Kidd Okafor
I hope that Marion plays well for you. I drafted him last year with the 3rd overall pick and he ended up fizzling out last year and not even playing for the last month or so. Luckily, I traded him for Boozer right before that happened. He could be great, as long as he's happy.
I am trying to move Odom and Marion for LeBron and some scrub... gotta wait and see if the guy will accept my trade
12 team yahoo league, head to head. 1: Mayo, Udrih 2: Roy, Rudy, Brandon Rush 3: Beasley, Tayshaun, RJeff, Kleiza 4: Dirk, Kevin Love 5. J-ONeal, Shaq
I just got rid of Felton, Hinrich and Deng for Love, Rondo and Thad Young. Now I look like... D. Will \ Kidd \ Rondo Durant \ Mayo Odom \ Thad Young Marion \ Beasley \ Love Jefferson \ Okafur \ Kaman
I'm in the same head-to-head league as BenDavis503. I feel pretty good about my roster. PG - Chris Paul SG - Kevin Martin SF - Rudy Gay PF - Josh Smith C - Al Horford G - Michael Redd F - Caron Butler UTIL - Andris Biedrins UTIL - David Lee UTIL - Rodney Stuckey Bench - Devin Harris, Luol Deng, Travis Outlaw
I guess I'll post the team that will beat Ben Davis's: PG: Steve Nash SG: Corey Maggette SF: Andrei Kirilinko PF: Carlos Boozer C: Marcus Camby G: Jose Calderon F: Josh Howard UTIL: Yao Ming UTIL: Richard Hamilton UTIL: Mo Williams Bench: Manu Ginobili Bench: Tyson Chandler Bench: Jermaine O'Neal
You might beat Davis' squad, but I'll be surprised if I don't run the table against you. In all seriousness, good luck! (Just not against me.)
You'll probably be hurting in FG%, FT%, Assists. Strong in Reb/Blk. Not sure about steals, turnovers. Average in 3PTM. It's okay, but Howard kills your FT% like Shaq used to. Who did you use your first-round pick on? I don't see anyone worth a first rounder on your roster.
Here's my fantasy team: PG: Steve Blake / Sergio Rodriguez / Jarryd Bayless SG: Brandon Roy / Rudy Fernandez SF: Martell Webster / Travis Outlaw / Nicolas Batum PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Channing Frye / Ike Diogu C: Greg Oden / Joel Przybilla / Raef LaFrentz
^^^ How is that team? That is my team from my other league. Is that team better then the team I got in this thread??
I'm guessing there are 10 or 12 teams in this league. Correct? With Okafor and Howard, your FT is not going to be good, but you have a good supply of rebounding big men. Also, while you have Roy and McGrady who will provide a decent amount of assists, you are lacking a true PG2 behind Calderon. Outside of Wallace you don't have any elite stealers, but you shouldn't suffer too bad in that category (should be okay). Blocks won't be a problem. Bench is kind of weak. I don't like starting anyone who doesn't actually start on their team (aka Stuckey) and while he has shown to be quite a player last year, he's still behind Billups and Hamilton. I'd say that it is not a team I would have drafted (I'd probably avoid Okafor since he doesn't help you much in FG% like big men should), but it isn't horrible either. Middle of the pack-ish.
