So I was poking around on Wikipedia this afternoon and stumbled across a list of prominent people that have disappeared. One of the players is John Brisker, who played in the ABA in the early '70's before playing for the Sonics in the mid '70's.

I just had never heard of the guy, but I think it's a cool story/mystery. I found this column from 2004, looking back at the man and his disappearance.

Former Sonic forever shrouded in mystery

It's like a murder mystery with Dele.

That is crazy man! I knew he was missing, but I didn't know all that other stuff. We should start a thread about crazy stories involving athletes. Like what about that wide receiver from Carolina that they caught hiding from the cops in his trunk? Or that Heisman Trophy winner that murdered his wife down in LA and didn't go to jail!

Well, when one has such a short time left in one's life, I guess it means FEWER worries.
