Wouldn't any of the top five teams in the draft in their right mind have traded their picks for this guy? Especially considering this is a draft without a single sure-fire All-Star.

Jrue > Bennett, Oladipo, Porter, Zeller or Len. Am I right? Yet somehow, Philly had to include an additional 1st round draft pick to get Noel? Insane! Even Noel's coach said he expects him to be the next Marcus Camby, and that's his own coach! I hope the Sixers don't plan on building around a Marcus Camby.

This is one of the worse trades I've ever seen.

Edit - My mistake on the additional draft pick. It's going the other way. Even so, still a terrible trade.

Makes no sense to me either. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out the reporting has been totally wrong.

I agree..... and people are saying that the #1, #19, and Thompson isn't enough for Aldridge.

Philly got fleeced. They will be rioting in the streets when Noel's leg snaps like a twig.

They must think very highly of Noel.

What confuses me is why the Magic didn't jump all over this deal. Jrue is exactly what they are missing.

Oh, that's a bit better for sure, especially if its for next year unprotected.

It is obvious they want Wiggins. This will come back to bite them in the ass, they will not win the lotto, no matter where there position is.

Noel + a likely lotto pick in 2014 for a 16.74 PER player isn't THAT bad. Philly knew they weren't going anywhere with Holiday. Now they have a top 10 talent + 2 lotto picks in a stacked draft next year.

This is the definition of a true tank, and it's what a lot of the posters here want Portland to do.

I only want it because there is not much to suggest Aldridge will stay with us. If none of this crap came out about Aldridge, no matter where it came from, then I would prefer to find pieces to help this team win and make playoffs. But to me this will be a wasted effort if we try to appease him and he most likely leaves/demands a trade.

    Ehhh Jrue is overrated.

The fact that he was selected as an all-star is a joke. Only in the east....
