No, in fact I would have to guess that he is the type of player Skiles will scream at. A lot. Can you imagine going from the Don Nelson Small Ball no defense system to being coached by Skiles who doesn't put up with jack dick?
Salmons is coming off of a career year in PER (17.6 with a 13.1 career average) in a summer where teams have cap space. May as well try to get somebody to overpay just to use their cap space once the big names start resigning with their teams, or being a part of sign-and-trades.
