They're gonna be tough if Artest keeps playing like he did tonight. 29 points and 7 rebounds. Artest-McGrady-Yao could win it all.

It's going to be one hell of a battle between Houston, New Orleans and L.A.

Just watched both games from tonight and Houston looked tough. NO went into PHX and handed it to them! CP3 is the real deal. We better get our shit together. This 1st 5 weeks is going to be a bitch.

I've been invited to the Houston game in a luxury suite (food provided, of course). It'll be rough, but somebody has to do it.

. . . but what's the chance that Artest will go the entire season withough getting injured or imploding?

Houston, LA and NO will be fighting for that #1 spot. The suns, spurs and jazz... and maybe Dallas are the tier 2 WC powers... that leaves the 8 spot open for us hopefully. Portland, Clips, Nuggets and MAYBE GS depends how they do until Ellis gets back.

He's getting older and I think a little wiser. He also realizes this is probably his last chance to get a ring in the next few years.

I really like this combo of Yao/McGrady/Artest. Scoring, defense, toughness. What we hope to have with our big 3.

Probably pretty high, he's playing for Rick Adelman, whom he likes and he'll probably be a little more motivated to play through injuries than he was with the Kings this last year.

    The Rockets are for real.

Its all about health. HUGE "If"... but if they are relatively healthy, they have a good chance of being the 1 seed and at least getting to the WCF. They seem built for the playoffs. Great in the half court, great defense, and depth that is perfect for a 8-9 man limited rotation.

Rick Adelman was a very good coach when we was with the Blazers, but he's a great coach now. There is no coach in the league that handles crazy better than Rick. I have zero concerns that Artest will destroy that team from within precisely because of the coach.

Man, do I wish he were our coach instead of Nate. Not that I dislike McMillan, but I love Adelman.
