I don't think they're gonna fall off the map like everyone thought they would. They look like they are still a contender and that will make it harder for us to reach the playoffs. And who was it that said the Clippers would finish ahead of the Suns? DaRizzle? I still offer that 1K bet. And I can't afford it. But I know I'll win.

It's a long season. They've got an aging roster. I'm not saying the Clipps are gonna finish ahead of them, but right now the old guys are fresh from a summer vacation. I'd like to see how they're holding up in March.

They're pros. They know how to pace themselves through an 82 game season. Barnes was a great pick up, by the way. And I'll be glad for Porter's success.

Agreed. Barnes is a great role player and kind of Matrix-lite in the sense he can help everywhere. A year or two ago for one week he was ranked the Yahoo! player averaging 20/10/3 with 2 blocks/steals/3ptm for a four game span. If they can get decent production out of their backups (calling you out Boris Diaw) then they still have a lot of potential this year.

Do the 4 games change your mind? Or do you still expect the Clippers to finish above the Suns?

Suns couldn't miss tonight, don't expect that to happen every game. This changes nothing, I still think they'll finish in the 6th, 7th or 8th spot in the West.

The Suns aren't this good. But the Clippers look remarkably like crap. I think the Suns will finish ahead of them.

Remarkably but unsurprisingly, IMO. I agree the Suns will finish ahead of them, and I bet it'll be by 10 games.

Just ask Ricky Davis what happens when he joins a team. Geesh- look what he did to the Heat last year.

The suns can probably get anywhere from 4-7...

I think 5 is where I have them as of right now. If they play defense even a little better, they are still an explosive off. team w/ Nash and Amare...

Barnes looks like a solid pickup, and their 8-man rotation is sick as hell.

    Nash | Bell | Barnes | Amare | Shaq
    Barbosa | Hill | Diaw

    hawt imo.

The only thing Rizzle has claimed is that the clock shouldn't stop until the ball is in the hoop and DaRizzle is ready to stop it.

He's not hurt, or injured. Suns are going to limit his games (mostly back-to-back) and mins.

New Orleans, San Antonio and Phoenix are all going to lose tonight to inferior teams. Were 2-3 all against teams that will be in the playoffs this year.
