How long can he keep his job? That's negligence.

So Pritchard turned down how many better offers than the one he took?

Interesting. I had heard that it was the other way around, that the Pacers asked for Thompson and the Warriors turned down the request.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Sounds a lot more realistic. Thompson is under contract for two more seasons and isn't a flight risk even then. Plus, he's locked up at relative bargain rates in the current market. Even if the Warriors could re-up George, he'd cost a ton more--I don't think the Warriors could afford such a jump in payroll with the luxury tax and repeater penalties looming.

Yeah, there's no way the Warriors offered Thompson.

So, what gives here? Is the Cow Town writer too stupid to interpret what was actually said in the podcast he referenced, or is he deviously clever and deliberately trying to stir up some unrest in the GSW locker room? Klay was the only one who wasn't initially thrilled with GSW getting Durant and now an OKC writer is claiming GSW offered up Klay to try to land PG13. Klay Klay not feeling the love???

"One offer that I was told was made was Indiana offered you to Golden State for Klay Thompson. Golden State said no. Talks didn't go anywhere"

If you actually listened to the podcast it was the other way around.

Did you even read the article?

"that before the Thunder acquired George in a trade with Indiana, the Pacers offered George for guard Klay Thompson."

    Pacers

    Offered

    George

Yes, of course they I read the article, that's why I chose the thread title Warriors Tried to get Paul George and called them greedy fuckers.

However the Woj podcats the author of that article references contradicts that claim and says it was the Pacers that asked about Klay and the Warriors turned them down, not the other way around.

So, either the author misheard what was actually said or he's trying to spin it for some reason.

The article you referenced contains this exact quote:

"that before the Thunder acquired George in a trade with Indiana, the Pacers offered George for guard Klay Thompson."

Nowhere does it insinuate that Golden State was the one that offered Klay for George.

The article has been edited. Go back and read my very first post. It is a direct quote and says:

Adrian Wojnarowksi revealed – and George confirmed – that before the Thunder acquired George in a trade with Indiana, the Warriors offered guard Klay Thompson in an effort to swing a deal to Golden State.
    – via Oklahoman

The original article stated it was GSW that offered Thompson to the Pacers to try to get PG13.

I never saw the pre-edit article, if it indeed did exist, so I can't vouch. That link goes to the current article.

Right, but that original quote was a direct cut and paste of a tweet from the Oklahoman that was posted on the HoopsHype Rumors page.

If you go to the HoopsHype Rumor page, they have updated it with this quote from Woj:

Adrian Wojnarowski: What Paul George and I discussed: Indiana — not Golden State — made that offer. Warriors said no. And that was the end. Tweet is gone below, but some were confused about PG conversation. Here’s the deal: Golden State NEVER offered Klay Thompson in a trade.
    – via Twitter wojespn

The article in the Oklahoman had it wrong and they have since deleted their original tweet and updated their article to reflect reality.

I offered HCP but the Pacers wanted to know if he could shovel snow in addition to doing the groundskeeping.
