This is this most random winning streak I've ever seen. Not exaggerating. A team that was completely in the toilet all of the sudden decided to stop losing. They've now won 7 straight including a win over the Warriors. It's not like they can make the playoffs, can they? What a waste of winning.

I wonder if they are tired of winning yet. Oh wait, this isn't the off topic forum....

The heat had some injuries which they were battling. Much like the Blazers, they are better than their record suggests.

I haven't been paying attention. Did they always have Waiters?

Who would have ever thought the Waiters would help a team win? That is the real shock here. Mediocre Man might be the only person more shocked than me.

Winning meaningless games. Sounds like a Cuse player. 12/3/4 with a 12.3 PER

Cleveland and OKC both saw all they needed to when they needed a team player

Oh, we definitely agree on Soup Juggler. I was just surprised that he strung a few decent games together.

That's really no bad teams except for Brooklyn. The Nets will probably be the only team that ends up with less than 25 wins. Every team except the Nets and Lakers are within 5.5 games of a playoff spot. Pretty crazy.

I think Philadelphia trades their pick four someone like Millsap or Fournier to try and compete this year.

Probably not. Fournier is way better and could probably be had.

With Simmons running the point, they could use a good secondary ball handler. Because Simmons can't shoot, they'll need one that can shoot too.

    So someone like Fournier.

It's pretty much certain that Dallas and Miami will meet in the final, isn't it?

    I did.
He's a capable scorer and decent passer, people said the same shit about Jamal Crawford before he came to ATL.

Their record is even more crazy than I thought.

Between the beginning of season and December 1st, they went 7-12. It's poor but what you would expect from their current team. That would give them 30 wins over course of season.

Starting Monday 21th November they went on a 4-18 run until January 13th, this is plain tanking and completely awful. That's a 15-67 team here. Something happened in that Milwaukee game though, something inexplicable which turned the NBA around. Milwaukee have gone 1-9 (despite being in playoffs spot with 20-18 at the time) since then while Miami have gone 9-0, all the way for 82-0!

2K have introduced this "Start Today" mode in their game this year and around the beginning of year I thought I would start campaigns with Miami, Dallas and Philadelphia to try and pick them up from their dreadful records and maybe make playoffs with one of them. I'd never imagine doing as well as they have been recently even in a video game on a lowish difficulty level.
