There is also Grant Jerrett and Tim Quarterman who signed training camp contracts. I think Montero could very well get beaten out of his roster spot by Quarterman.

Not me. Low upside. NO athleticism. Weaker handles.

Just a reminder: Montero's contract is not guaranteed. Of course neither are Quarterman's or Jerett's. So far as we know, the competition for the last spot is between those 3. However, I generally remember that training camp has 18 players, so someone else has a theoretical chance as well (barring trades).

They do seem to be pretty high on Montero, but Jerett fits what the team is trying to do (shooting big man).

Yes I guess Crabbe would have to play some 2, we're a bit short in the backcourt behind either Dame or CJ and a bit too deep inside. Crabbe would have to play that 3rd guard role but I worry we might be forced to play too big when Dame or CJ are on the bench

We still need a starting-quality combo guard.

Don't forget ET played well at SG last year. Between CJ, ET, and Crabbe at SG and Crabbe, ET, Harkless at SF...we are fine at the wings. Plus we have Amino in case of multiple injuries at SF. (and maybe Jake)

Yes but both Dame and CJ are somewhat combo-guards. You play Dame and especially CJ at PG with Crabbe or Turner at the 2 and you lack creativity, ball handling, you play too big in the backcourt. Dame and CJ together is an awesome back-court but we need another guard for when one of them sit

Evan Turner can play the 1-3. He is more of a point guard than CJ.

Move Harkless to backup SF and I agree with you.

We really need to start planning this championship parade. Will it be on Drexler drive or pioneer square?

Not sure you went far enough. When did Vonleh become a center, why is Harkless at PF?

Damn our roster looks good. That's deep, talented, versatile and young. Good chemistry. With synergy, everyone coming together, we're good enough to win a championship.
