Justin Vincent will come in and fill in nicely. They are still the best team in the confernce talent wise. Vincent ran for a 1000 yards as a freshman.

But Joe Aadai is going to be the main RB. He is a great receiving back. Vincent was terrible and out of shape last year. Friends I have at LSU say that in the off-season after the National Championship season, and also during the 2004 season Vincent was out drinking heavily and not worrying at all thinking he had the job in the bag. If Vincent can get back on track he will be a solid #2 but not get as many carries as broussard or Aadai would have gotten.

They'll split carries. Most college teams use two back systems. I expect Vincent to turn it on eventually. Aadai is a great pass reciever like you said. Either way LSU should contend for a National title. Russel emerging is the key to the season.

I completely believe you but am curious; Do you mean the SEC West or the entire SEC?

For sure the SEC West and the entire SEC as well. You can make an argument for Florida but LSU has a lot of talent. Thats my projected SEC Title showdown and it might come down to coaching in the end. Miles vs Meyer. SEC is always fun to watch.

SEC is my favorite & far and away the best in the NCAA.

Leak will not transition well to Meyer's system IMO.

Alley Broussard was my favored RB IMO.

He's got nice size and has great field vision.

I hope Miles does us well.

I think Leak is gonna have a monster year in that system. Chris Leak has tons of talent and that system should make him a top 3 QB in the nation

Well he looked horrible in the first Spring game. Frosh Josh Portis actually looked better but in the 2nd spring game he dominated. So I think there is gonna be some inconsistency. Leak is good but not Heisman good like some people think. I don't think he puts up Alex Smith type numbers.

Just wait and see, he will come around and make a huge impact in the SEC.

I can't wait till Florida comes to Death Valley! The game will be close, but i foresee Leak on the ground alot. Russel will tear it up. although losing Broussard hurts alot. No way does J. Vincent even come close to comparing to Alley.
