Statement: DeAndre Jordan averaged 4.5 missed free throws a game in the regular season. Damian Lillard made 5.5 free throws a game. Question: In game 1 of the playoffs, what will be higher? DeAndre Jordan's missed free throws or Damian Lillard's made free throws? Just a reminder, the rules/points are: Post your answer to the question (preferably in picture format) and those who participate get 2 points. Those who get the answer correct get another 3 points and finally the person chosen to have the best picture gets 1 more point extra.
Being the guy who writes the question for the Over/Under is kind of like being the guy who writes the lines at the Vegas Sportsbooks. You try to get roughly half the action on each side of the line (or question). For the most part we do that well. Sometimes (like this time) it fails miserably! No problem, just do better next time. But I agree with you all. The way Stotts has been talking it looks like DeAndre is going to the line a lot. He might miss more then Dame even attempts. Going into the game however (before Stotts comments) I would have said this would be a good line as DeAndre would have most likely been only fouled in the last 2 minutes of each half and only if the game was within 6 points either way.
Ok, so for all I said above I am going to go against the grain for fun. I think Dame can get 10 free throws and make 90% of them. And either scenario we should win. So a loss for me should still be a win for the team. And we need to test out the elimination eventually anyways so I may be the first to go!
Nope. That was young John Goodman before he turned his talents to acting. He got tired of Rondo Sr. being an asshole.....
