"The Padres made a move to add bullpen depth Sunday, claiming right-handed pitcher Pat Neshek off waivers from the Twins. Neshek, 30, made 132 career relief appearances with the Twins from 2006-10 and was a teammate of current San Diego shortstop Jason Bartlett and second baseman Orlando Hudson. Neshek has a career 3.05 ERA. He posted a 4.26 ERA over six relief appearances for the Twins this spring, with five strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
