The race for MVP in the NBA this season feels more wide open than it has in the past. And Paul George believes the door might be open for him to sneak in. In an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio (via NBC Sports), George made it clear that it's an individual goal for him to win the MVP this season, while stating that this is his year to go ahead and grab it. “I want to be MVP,” he said. “I definitely want to be MVP this year. It’s tough, as always. It would be a challenge. But with coach Nate and the guys that I got here, I’m in position to move into that spot. "As long as I remain being me, being a leader, being aggressive and wanting that. It’s not mine for the taking. I got to go get it. And this is my year to go get it."
