The New Orleans Pelicans are going to obviously do everything humanly possible to retain all-world forward Anthony Davis, and that reportedly includes the offer of a massive new contract.

According to The Times-Picayune, David will be presented with a five-year extension that exceeds $143 million Wednesday.

The Pelicans also want to re-sign center Omer Asik:

Other than making an assertive to push to sign star power forward Anthony Davis to a five-year extension that exceeds $143 million starting on July 1, the Pelicans next order of business is making a push to re-sign starting center Omer Asik.
