Yes, he went way over the top, as Ted Nugent has done. The similarity is that both are full of words, but not action. Everyone knows they're just talking. The difference is that Democratic leaders won't come within a mile of Fonda, while some Republican leaders have embraced Ted Nugent and put him on a stage.
A presidential candidate (and now president) encourages sexual assault (grab ‘em by the pussy) and has been accused of multiple sexual harassment incidents and it’s “fake news”. You must not have read the news in the years before 2010, when the Secret Service finally shut him up. He hasn't peeped since, to stay out of jail. He used to say things like Peter Fonda did, only many times, while Fonda piped up only this one time. Fonda apologized for this, but Nugent doesn't as a rule.
Kinda seems like the President and those that are standing behind him as his policies are entirely responsible for the inhuman treatment of these fellow human beings are way worse then anything a person can say on twitter.
