Philadelphia Phillies right-fielder Delmon Young says Ben Revere is not the type of player to give up.

"He's had to fight for everything his whole life, he's not going to give up on an at-bat with a chance to win the game there," Young said.

The left-handed hitting Revere battled through an eight-pitch at-bat against left-hander Tommy Layne before hitting a grounder to second with the game tied 5-5 in the 13th inning. San Diego's Logan Forsythe bobbled Revere's grounder and then threw home wildly, leading to two unearned runs in Philadelphia's 7-5 win Wednesday night.
