    Good for Joe...Happy for him but I really thought he might get the Cubs job because I know it's a job he's wanted for awhile.

    Both Theo in Chicago and Van Wagonen in New York want managers who will be "their boy' The Yankees let Girardi go because he would not be Cashmans boy. I'm wondering who gets the job in San Fran!!!!

    Yeah, if he can handle NY, you would think that he can also handle Philly...then again, Philly fans may be as unforgiving as NY fans.

    To me, Showalter seems better suited for the NL...would not be surprised if he gets the Giants job...I think he's to smart to take the Mets gig.
