<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BOSTON (AP) -- Paul Pierce refused to let an early injury affect his overall performance.

Pierce had 26 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds for his first triple-double of the season to lead Boston past the Milwaukee Bucks 106-96 Friday night, the first time this season the Celtics have scored 100 or more points.

Pierce collided with Bucks center Daniel Santiago early in the first quarter and had to leave the game for a short time. He came back and hit five of seven shots to finish with 11 points in the quarter.

"They dominated the whole game," Redd said.

It was the first of back-to-back games between the clubs, which play in Milwaukee on Saturday night.

The game featured an interesting matchup of highly drafted point guards -- Banks and Milwuakee's T.J. Ford. Ford was more electrifying, with some nifty passes. He had six points and five assists.</div>

Nice game from Pierce, he's copped a lot this year in double and triple teams and showed exactly what's he's capable of. Terry Porter started Dez Mason too with Tim Thomas out, and he responded by 16, 7 and 6 after a slump coming in as 6th man. Will be interesting to see how Milwaukee respond back in the Bradley Centre.

Every loss is a huge blow to the Bucks. Surprisingly they are only one win away from breaking even.
