<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">AUBURN HILLS -- Tayshaun Prince, Pepe Sanchez and second-round draft pick Andreas Glyniadakis headline the Pistons' summer league roster, which will compete in Orlando, Fla., on July 8-12.

It also will provide the Pistons' new coaching staff its first extended practice time with Darko Milicic, the second overall pick. Milicic will not be allowed to play in the games because of a contract dispute with his former team in Europe. He will practice with the team every day, though.

"This is going to be an important summer for Pepe Sanchez," said John Hammond, the Pistons' vice president of basketball. "Not so much from a standpoint of making our team or not. But this gives him a chance to regain some confidence and reconnect with a coaching staff that is very familiar with him."

Sanchez, who never gained the trust of former coach Rick Carlisle, played for Larry Brown in Philadelphia in 2000-2001. He has a chance to secure the third point-guard spot.

The Pistons also have invited two NBA veterans: 6-foot-11 center Amal McCaskill, who was on the Spurs' roster last season, and 6-7 small forward Cedric Henderson, who played for the Cavs, Warriors and Bucks.

"Our roster is full right now, but who knows what will happen in the future," Hammond said. "This is an opportunity for us to look at those players and it is an opportunity for them to show what they can do not only to us but to other teams, as well."

The Pistons tried to acquire McCaskill before last season, but the deal fell through when McCaskill refused to go on the Pistons' injured list.

Here is the rest of the summer roster: Guards -- Collis Temple, 6-7, Louisiana State; Justin Hamilton, 6-3, Florida; Willie Deane, 6-1, Purdue; Donta Richardson, 6-2, Wyoming. Forward -- Ronald Dupree, 6-7, LSU; Centers -- Trevor Harvey, 6-11, Florida State; Brandon Kurtz, 6-10, (Asheville of the NBDL).

Brown will be on hand in Orlando and run the practices. He will not coach the games, however. He will leave right after to begin his duties with the U.S. national team. </div>
