This now puts the Trailblazers at a respectable 1-1. Zach Randolph is averaging 21.5 ppg and 11 rpg. He is really living up to the hype.

Zach Randolph contributed 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting and 13 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers handed the Cavaliers a 24th consecutive road defeat with a 104-85 triumph.

Jeff McInnis scored 15 points, Damon Stoudamire added 14 and Qyntel Woods 13 for the Trail Blazers, who lost to Utah in their season opener Wednesday.

James, the 18-year-old rookie phenom, struggled for the first time on an NBA court, scoring just eight points on 3-of-12 shooting and adding six assists and four rebounds. He had produced 46 points, 18 rebounds and 17 assists in his first two carrer games, both on the road.

Portland took the lead for good, 25-23, on a jumper by Rasheed Wallace that opened the second quarter.

The Blazers saw a 15-point halftime lead cut to 74-67 on a jumper by James with 1:37 left in the third quarter, but Portland scored the final basket of the period and opened the fourth quarter on a 16-2 run to put away the game. </div>RecaplBoxscore
