what do people have for their ISP? I was thinking of switching from comcast cable (12mbps) to qwest, just curious if anyone has some experiences with either. Would their be much of a dropoff in performance, going from 12mbps to 7? I use the internet for games, torrents, streams etc, but max download speed isn't really an issue, I'm patient enough.

You will see a huge difference from 12 to 7 if you use your connection for things like that. I recently upgraded from 7 to 15 and I get around 90ms in Counter-Strike on Eastern US servers. It previously hovered around 130ms.

We switched to Comcast and it was dramatically faster.

If you or your business is considering Clear, let me know. My friend is a sales rep for them and I'm sure he'd like the extra clients.
