Man it'd be so damn hillarious if somehow out of nowhere Sonics pass up on Durant. I can imagine something like that. But ofcourse its 99.9% that it doesn't happen.
They will 1000% take Durant, even if they didn't want him. Not taking him would be total Franchise and Financial Suicide that they would have to extract the Sonics from the NBA all together. Moving would no longer be an option, because they would have no fans anywhere.
Oh yeah? Sorry, I haven't been around much. Maybe I can come back and take care of your pest problem.
The Blazers and Oden's agent have both refuted this report. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Greg Oden to the Blazers? Maybe, but the team says there are no guarantees. Greg Oden's agent and Portland's general manager refuted an ESPN report Wednesday that said Oden's camp had been informed the former Ohio State phenom will be the top pick in Thursday's NBA Draft. "We haven't been told that,'' Mike Conley, Sr. told The Oregonian late Wednesday night. "(ESPN) can have their opinion, but the Blazers haven't told us anything.'' The Oregonian report said Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard was "emphatic" that the ESPN report was premature. "Nobody has been promised or told anything. Nobody,'' Pritchard told the paper.</div> http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/6970090
I tell you one thing I would be highly upset if Portland chose Durant. In my mind our franchise will be in much better shape with the D.C. native than the next Mutumbo/Robinson. I may have the minority view but I'm used to being there.
I'm with you Shiek, but, I can't say I would be highly upset. Highly upset would describe how I would feel if Ridnour was on our roster on opening day.
