    Injury Update:
    <u>Was-</u> SG Larry Hughes Knee Questionable
    SF Jared Jeffries Ankle Questionable
    SG Jerry Stackhouse Knee IL
    PG Gilbert Arenas Abdominal IL
    PG Chris Whitney Ankle IL
    ==================================
    Key Matchup
    [IMG] [IMG]
    *Both Players are stars in the making, Kwame's consistent play, especially against Indiana where he outplayed JO, has helped the team to 4 wins in their last 5. Zach Randolph has the strength advantage, but he is far less quicker than Kwame, this matchup could go either way.
    ====================================
    Keys to The Game
    <u>Was-</u>
    *Get Kwame the ball in the post
    *Keep Randolph/Sheed of the boards
    *Give Larry(of he plays) and Kwame help offensively and defensively

    <u>Por-</u>
    *Feed Randolph
    *Take advantage of teh Wizards injuries, go at Larry Hughes
    *Get Offensive Boards
    ====================================
    Prediction If Larry Hughes plays the Wizards will win this, Portland is a horrible road team. If he doesnt, they still have a chance to win, but it will be a lot harder, they will need someone to step up.

    W/ Larry, Wiz win by 6
    W/Out Larry, Wiz win by 2

    Good preview. Wizards stars mostly injured, so I choose Portland over Wizards 9+

    My favorite Wizard; Juan Dixon had 30 points in place of Larry Hughes!

    Box Score

    Blazers win 94-83

    ARGH! Eddie Jordan has to be the stupidest man alive...putting and undersized Jarvis Hayes, who sucked in this game...missing 2 easy layups, on Darius Miles, Brevin Knight let Damon Stoudamire open the whole game, who killed us from three going 6-8 from deepland. Kwame got 0 FG attempts in the second half, and he had a pretty decent game 11pts, 10boards, 5 assists, he would of had atleast 8 assists if Jared Jeffries could catch the ball, Etan THomas is flat out horrible, he was being dominated by Zach Randolph the whole game until they put Kwame on him, ahhh....it takes patience being a fan of a team like this.

    Just outmanned this game chief, you will be ok.

    Wizards have not been playing that bad ball of late, actually being competitive.

    The sooner Wizards get Stack back the better,they are playing soild ball even without 3 starters.Thats a good sign for the future.

    I agree with that, this is our starting L right now:
    Brevin Knight- PG
    Larry Hughes- SG
    Jarvis Hayes- SF
    Kwame Brown- PF
    Brendan Haywood- C

    Brevin Knight is only good for gettin steals, he leaves his man open too much, he has no offense
    Larry Hughes makes a lot of bad decisions, but that is exceptable if he puts up about 20 a game, he cant do everything himself
    Jarvis Hayes....Way to inconnsistent, i know he is a rookie, but when you miss 2 layups in the same qaurter, something is wrong. He gets dominated by bigger SF, like Darius Miles.
    Kwame Brown...Doesnt get the ball enough, he is an above average passer, he has finally emerged as a threat, getting doubled before he gets the ball in teh post...only time will tell if he cna be an elite player
    Brendan Haywood is also very inconsistent,

    When our three stars come back, it will look like this:

    PG- Arenas
    SG- Hughes
    SF- Stackhosue
    PF- Kwame
    C- Haywood

    that is deadly in the east, that could win us a lot of games, especially next year.

    If that was the case, why would he sign an extention instead of becoming a free-agent? please think before you post.

    Definitely, especially now that both Dixon and Kwame are finally stepping up. Good job wizards, you'll be even stronger, as much as I hate him, and to say, once Stack is back.
