Here is the info from practice today. At Rangers practice on Monday they are using the following lines (Cyrgalis) •Jimmy Vesey, Derek Stepan, Rick Nash •Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, Tanner Glass/Pavel Buchnevich •JT Miller, Kevin Hayes, Mats Zuccarello •Michael Grabner, Oscar Lindberg, Jesper Fast On defense the Rangers have Ryan McDonagh paired with Dan Girardi, Marc Staal paired with Nick Holden, Brady Skjei with Brendan Smith and a fourth pair of Steven Kampfer and Kevin Klein. Appears Klein will be back out. D pairs back to game 1 and 2 pairs. We'll see who gets the call on the Zib line (I would go Buch). I actually like those lines, but obviously that means Zib, Kreider, Miller and Hayes wake up.
This is a joke right? Glass on the second line? Might as well just throw in the towel now if you're putting him on the second line. I have ZERO issue with him staying in the lineup, in fact he's one of the few that has truly earned a spot in the lineup, but he's a fourth line guy not a second line guy. You do that and now we have two checking lines totally incapable of scoring. Leave the 4th line as is, put in Buch for Hayes, slide Miller over to C and there you go. Hayes has been a steaming pile of trash this series.
Actually like that 4th line. Lindberg to me would have been our best player if not for Glass killing the offense of that line. I could see that 4th line doing something. Glass with Kreider is a message to Kreider. Stop playing like a pussy you bitch.
