Here's mine. Starters: Dame/ CJ/ Moe/ Aminu/ Plums Second unit: CJ/ Turner/ Crabbe/ Ed/ C of choice Spot minutes: Meyers or Ezeli, depending on matchups. Rest don't get off the bench unless it's a blowout. A 10 man rotation seems reasonable. Minute distribution: PG: Dame (33)/ CJ (15) SG: CJ (18)/ Turner (24)/ Crabbe (6) SF: Moe (20)/ Crabbe (18)/ Aminu (10) PF: Aminu (20)/ Ed (20)/ Meyers (8) C: Plums (24)/ Meyers(12)/ Ezeli (12) 1. Dame-- 33 2. CJ-- 33 3. Aminu-- 30 4. Turner -- 24 5. Crabbe -- 24 6. Plums -- 24 7. Moe -- 20 8. Ed-- 20 9. Meyers-- 20 10. Ezeli -- 12 Here's what it looked like last year: 1. Dame-- 36 2. CJ-- 35 3. Aminu-- 29 4. Crabbe-- 26 5. Plums-- 25 6. Meyers--22 (only 61 games) 7. Ed-- 21 8. Henderson-- 20 9. Moe-- 19 10. Noah-- 15
PG - Dame (32) / CJ (12) / Turner (4) SG - CJ (20) / Crabbe (20) / Turner (8) SF - Turner (18) / Aminu (10) / Crabbe (10) / Harkless (10) PF - Aminu (18) / Davis (18) / Harkless (8) / Leonard (4) C - Plumlee (24) / Meyers (12) / Ezeli (12) Dame - 32 CJ - 32 Turner - 30 Crabbe - 30 Aminu - 28 Plumlee - 24 Davis - 20 Harkless - 18 Meyers - 16 Ezeli - 12 EDIT: What's encouraging to look at (from a FO sanity standpoint) is that the players making the most money should play the most minutes, all the way down the line. This is a vast improvement over previous regimes. This is also if everything is clicking... Obviously if they aren't Dame, CJ, and ET will be taking 4+ more minutes each.
Gonna be kind of hard for Meyers to be in the rotation when he won't even be active until December...
Starters for me would be Dame CJ Crabbe Aminu Plumlee (this is up to the allstar break only) Turner Vonleh Mo Ed These guys will be the first bench mob with one starter playing with them When Meyers and Festus heal...it'll probably change
That was the original timeline, but there have been several articles that say he's going to be cleared for contact by the start of camp. http://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/ba...rogress-in-recovery-from-dislocated-shoulder/
I don't see this being an issue at all. Of course he'll have to earn his minutes but there are plenty to go around... The only one who is an odd-man out really is Vonleh. Nards is injured so... Oh right Napier... Ha well he's most likely locked into a patty mills type role. Lillard/CJ/ ----> Napier CJ/Lillard/Crabbe(minutes when CJ or Lillard sit) Turner/Harkless Aminu/Davis/Harkless/ -----> Vonleh Plumlee/Davis/Ezeli/ -----> Nards due to missing camp. Portland is going to be a long and athletic team. Will have a 3 guard rotation in Lillard/CJ/Crabbe Crabbe will get some minutes at the 3, but the majority will come at the 2. Pretty easy to find minutes for everyone... Well until you get to the 5. Portland has a ton of players there.
I'm 75% sure that there will be a trade this deadline. Guessing at least one of Noah, Ed, Plums is headed out for a pick. Also, in terms of $/min for a rotation player, I'm guessing AC will be near the top of the league.
I messed up a bit; I have CJ at 34 minutes instead of 32. I'll re-do it. EDIT: Gave those two CJ minutes to Crabbe, so he's at 30 now.
I care about my math working (48 minutes per position), and I wanted CJ at 32 minutes so I made a change to satisfy my OCD.
I agree with damn near everything here, but I think you need to switch Moe starting with either Crabbe or Turner. I don't see (2) 70+ million dollar contracts coming off the bench. Other than that, I think your right there.
Further more, how did Crabbe and Mo do when on the court at the same time/ I would think their games would compliment each other. I see these guys being our 6th and 7th men while Tuner starts
