Well the Crossing Issue can be fixed by turning Crossing Assist Off. and the Offside can take a while but at least they work :D

    Yarp.

There are tutorials online for console modification for the series. If you're not interested in modding your XBOX 360 then I suggest buying the game for PC and purchasing the XBOX 360 controller designed for the computer.

Basically just hacking the console. You can do this with the PS3 as well, but if you're not careful you can mess up the way the console functions. That's why I suggest purchasing the PC version instead with a controller of your choice. There are easy to use tools on the web to modify your PC game. I remember with Winning Eleven 9 I kept updated the thing so much that I didn't need to purchase a new football game for a long time. I kept removing and adding clubs to make the experience fresh. If you don't want to be bothered creating players, you can find dozens of packs with new teams to download online. There is likely to be a big Russian Premier League pack available on day one like every year.

I'd get the PC version, and the 360 controller.

I have been on both games, Demo for the Ps3. I prefer Pes but only just, I like the fifa games usually and only like the Pes games for multiplayer. But it is different this time withPes being a lot more like fifa was last year but better. And fifa have gone in a different direction trying to change things to get a reaction when little or no change would have been the best option. If fifa does not have a good manager mode, I don't care because I just downloaded the Football Manager 09 demo.

I think this helps our FIFA argument admirably. For FIFA, no "hacking" is needed.

It doesn't help you mean. There aren't enough people out there modding that series when it needs more help in actually having the correct kits and badges for most of the teams in the game. While there is licensing, it isn't full, especially when it comes to Italy and many other countries. Only the FA Premier League has true kits and actual GK kits. Any other teams have much of their stuff missing or their players are listed playing incorrect positions - the list can go on and on.

Thanks, but I'm not interested in fiddling with my Xbox, seeing as how it's my second 360.

Ring of death, I assume? A friend of mine had that happen three times in one year.

Uh, sure. BTW, your Kazan side won the RPL recently.

I played on fifa 09 today for the first time, the legend player season thingie is great on both consoles and it looks better but you just have to get used to it. Although it will be a pain when switching to Pes because of the control and gamplay differences.
