EliteXC has put together a big card for their upcoming Hawaii event, the biggest bout featuring Robbie Lawler and Ninja Rua. Highly touted welterweight Jake Shields is also on the card along with Nick Diaz. The most popular female MMA fighter in North America, the photogenic Gina Carano, will also compete on Saturday.

Rua lost four of his last five PRIDE fights, dropping contests to ranked middleweights Paulo Filho, Denis Kang, UFC light heavyweight champion Quentin Jackson, and Russian Top Team product Sergi Kharitonov. Since leaving PRIDE, Ninja has had success fighting for Cage Rage and Strike Force.

Ruthless Robbie Lawler hasn't fought in the UFC since losing twice in 2004, first to Nick Diaz, then to Evan Tanner. Lawler is 6-1 since then, with a lone loss to Jason Mayhem Miller, fighting for a pile of organizations such as ICON and the IFL. Lawler recently knocked out Frank Trigg who, incidentally, was coming off a win against Miller.

EliteXC Uprising airs tomorrow at 3:00PM EST on Showtime.
