Up and down year for prospects. First two rounders look good. After a slow start and probably some disappointment not making the Rangers, Andersson has found his game. 15 games, 5 G, 3 A. I think he has like 8 points in his last 8 games or something like that. Chytil came back from what I would assume as an injury and had 2 goals. Has 5 G, 6 A, 11 points in 9 games as an 18 year old which is impressive. Ronning has 23 G, 11 A in 23 games as an overrage player in juniors. We'll see what he can do in the AHL. Did have 5 points in 12 games in his AHL debut last year. Maybe they might get lucky with him. Gropp has done nothing in the AHL so far. 1 point in 15 games. Same for Fontaine who had his first point yesterday. Gropp seems to be getting shots at least. Hopefully, those 2 will figure it out soon. Day has 15 points in 18 games. Another one that I'll pay attention to when he gets to the AHL. Stats wise Graves looks to be having a miserable year. Not sure if that reflects his play. Most all of the prospects other than Chytil look to be disappointing for the Pack. Lettieri seems to be doing well. Shesterkin has done nothing to disprove he's the future goalie of this team.

Gropp has started scoring after I sent him a tweet and told him to get his head out of his ass, start scoring or he was going to end up rotting the minors the rest of his life. Since that tweet, 5 points his last 6 games.

Pack actually scored 7 goals last night. Gropp had 1 A. Fontaine had 2 goals. F0ntaine is one of my favorite prospects. It might take him 3 years in the AHL but I've thought all along he will be our future 4th line center. Hope he can finish this season with 8-10 goals, 5-10 assists as a 20 year old.

Pack seems to scoring now as they won 5-4. DeAngelo with 1 G, 1 A. Gropp with a goal. Now 8 points in his last 10 games. Fontaine with a goal. Graves with an A.

The kid Barron from Cornell seems like he could be someone to keep an eye on.

Halverson seems to be regressing into a career AHL type, and he's not even there anymore.

Pack are scoring more now. Graves had a goal last night. Fontaine 1 G 1 A. Gropp didn't play. Don't know why. Fontaine IMO will be our future 4th line center.

Love Fontaine as a prospect. Loved him in the pre-season. He had at least 2 high quality scoring chances every game. Just didn't finish. His game is perfect for the PK, 4th line and the playoffs.

Chattel just scored a goal on a nice follow up shot. Must have taken a shot to the nose earlier as his nose is stuffed with cotton. Love this kid. Chytil has 2 goals and czechs lead russians 4-2 after 2.

Shame he got cheap shotted in an AHL game which knocked him out for a while. Looks like some nice additions coming up with Chytil and Andersson. Fontaine is rounding into form. He should be ready in a couple of years to take the 4th line role. Hopefully, Gropp continues to score and has a big second half.

Defensively Graves and Gilmour should be up because Smith, Staal and Holden sure as heck don't fit our thickhead coaches system.

Andersson had 2 G 1 A and Chytil 1 G 1 A. Some of the teams they play are garbage but it's nice to see both of them scoring well.

Ronning with a hat-trick yesterday. Now in 38 games, 34 goals, 15 A and 196 shots on goal. He's a righty shot. It would be a tremendous help if his game could translate to the NHL. He had 5 points in 12 games last year in his AHL debut. Oilers fans are gushing over Ronning's line-mate Benson who was a 2nd round pick. You could make the case that Ronning at this state is the better prospect due to Benson's ability to stay healthy.

Ronning's team lost 4-3. Ronning with the hat-trick and 8 shots on goal. Don't know why but the light clicked for him this year. All three of his goals were not from Benson. Would be huge for the organization if Ronning who is a righty shot became a player. Unlike Zucc, he actually shoots. He leads the WHL in shots on goal with 222 in 44 games. Day had a 4 point game the other night for his new team. Now 26 points in 30 games. Hopefully, he can continue to improve.

Ronning had 2 G and 10 shots on goal in a one goal loss for his team. Guy has been a machine this season. Rangers badly need to hit on one of these late picks with a right handed forward. I don't think the kid will even need AHL time. I expect him to be on the team next season. Chytil had 1 G and 1 A for the crappy Pack.
