I like this move. Once AV was fired I wanted Keefe or Quinn, so I am happy we got Quinn. Seems like a young vocal leader that will get in your face and show tough love when he has to, and will also be supportive and help grow the kids. Seems to have the right approach and mindset based on what I have read.

Would have preferred Keefe, but picking a young coach such as Quinn is the right move. Thank God
no more retreads that is so common in this league. A youthful team needs a no nonsense, in your face
head coach. From what I’ve heard, Quinn fits that bill. Exciting, promising years lie ahead for the
    New York Rangers.

Now, with all the early round draft picks, let’s hope Gorton picks some top talent.

5 years $12 mil. I agree with hiring someone young instead of a retread. Gives him time to work with Gorton on the draft and team needs.

He’ll be 52 when the season starts he’s not that young. Let’s just hope he doesn’t infuse a puzzy azz mentality like AV did

Agree. Rather have a non-retread. Hope he works out.

Something about him reminds me of Sullivan, but it's a solid hire it looks like. He or Montgomery were the two best candidates imo.
