I read that we may be looking at getting Randal El in free agency From Pittsburg and was wandering what BEARS fans and Steelers fans may think about this? He could bring a good returner to our special teams, and that is a area that we could use some help in after struggling there this season with finding someone to fill that gap. He could be used as another receiver on the field for us to compliment our young new recieving corps. Also we could use him as a third string QB in games without using up an active roster spot for it which could be nice. I think that he could help in some key areas and say, why not, even if he comes from the Steelers (just kidding). They are also saying that we may take a TE, S, or CB first in the draft and maybe another LB second. They say that Rex is not going to be named the starter and that it will be an open competion for the spot which should be fun I'm sure. Bad part is we will probably pay alot for Randal because of the Super Bowl appearence this year but they say that we have alot of cap space to play with. I just hope that we don't pay to much for him if we do get him. Thing's could get interesting in CHI-town.

Randal El is a great return man and deep threat but he doesnt have great skills...if you look at alot of his games he is usually less then 100 yard and getting around 4 catches...he is good but his talent could be better...

Congrats 4th! Sounds like you may get your very own Kordell Stewart.

He is a similar player to Steve Smith, and I would have not problem if the bears signed him.

He would be a great pick up.
