Are you fucking kidding me?</p> Randy "The Natural" Couture, who recently defeated Tim Sylvia to become the UFC's heavyweight champion, then defended his title against number one contender Gabriel Gonzaga, is done with the UFC. At least as of this moment.</p> UFC President Dana White is claiming that a Hollywood bigshot agent has been in Randy's ear and has convinced him of two things: he is underpaid and he can be a movie star. Couture is currently filming the fourth sequel to The Mummy entitled "The Scorpion King: Rise of the Akkadian". He is supposedly upset with what the UFC has been paying the rest of the roster including the new PRIDE recruits, and is doubly upset over the rumoured numbers the UFC was throwing at world #1 ranked pound-for-pound fighter Fedor Emelianenko.</p> Fedor recently signed with Russian upstart fighting organization M1. This is supposedly a large factor in Randy leaving the UFC--he wants to fight Fedor and the UFC losing their opportunity to sign the Red Devil hero all but elminates the chance that fight could happen in the near future.</p> This will likely lead to a vacated UFC Heavyweight Championship. With a deep heavyweight division the UFC is unlikely to suffer in terms of competition, but the loss will be major in terms of marketability. Couture is much more popular in the US than Cro Cop, Big Nog, Kongo, Vera, and the lot.</p>
