I'm OK with this team selling off pieces at the deadline. Even if they are in a playoff run. The team still needs to badly re-stock its farm. You want to have a really good, young core when Shesterkin is ready. Andersson and Chytil were good starters. Nash has to be dealt as a rental at the deadline. Same with Holden. Same with Smith if you can get a team on his list to accept the deal.

They're getting hammered on faceoffs lately.

Smith continues to look lost. Something must be going on off the rink.

Solid win and good night on the scoreboard. Fast has been awesome of late, not that he isn't always good. Just always makes a smart play. The back end of the D is a concern of course but we may have to just live with it for now.

Av's system is way too high risk. Almost every pass they make in their own zone trying to break out is super quiz. Problem is they aren't that good at it. They turn the puck over a ton when it doesn't work. It would be nice to see them try something else when they have leads in the third period.
