How would you rank the West? DraftKings WC odds; 1/2 Clippers/Warriors 3 Suns 4 Lakers 5/6/7 Grizzlies/Nuggets/Mavs 8 Timberwolves 9 Pelicans 10 Blazers 11 Jazz 12/13 Kings/Thunder 14 Spurs 15 Rockets
My ranks; 1 Clippers 2 Nuggets 3 Grizzlies 4 Suns 5 Warriors 6 Pelicans 7 Timberwolves 8 Blazers 9 Mavs 10 Kings 11 Lakers 12 Thunder 13 Spurs 14 Rockets 15 Jazz I've never seen the West with such strong rosters up and down spots 1-7. Timberwolves are probably too young, otherwise I wouldn't be shocked if any of those top 7 teams went to the finals. Lakers or Mavs have the MVP players to make a finals run from the bottom group but probably need a trade.

I said 6 - optimists of the world unite! - but hard to argue with your analysis. 9 teams are def better on paper.

6th on the low side. 4th if Ant progresses, and Sharpe makes a decent contribution. Top three if trade is made for Durant or Mitchell.

Why on earth do you have the Lakers even in the playoffs? Did they trade Russ for KD? They didn't even make the play-in last year and haven't made any changes except for the fact that LeBron is now in his 20th season. And the NUGGETS are NOT scrubs. They genuine contenders to win it all.
If Sharpe is relegated to playing as the 9th or 10th man in our rotation I still think this team will finish 6th in the West and think that is highly probable. At the same time I think there is a chance that we hear about how much further along Shaedon is during training camp and he wins the starting SF spot by the end of the preseason if that's the case then we should end up with HCA. Most likely top 10 in the West as it stands today... knowing that Utah will trade away Mitchell and tank and also not knowing if the Lakers will be able to improve through trade: Clippers Warriors Suns Grizzlies Nuggets Your Portland Trail Blazers!!!! Mavericks Pelicans Timerwolves Lakers
By the way when's the last time we missed the playoffs with a healthy Dame? And our supporting cast is not worse than the previous years, i'd argue the opposite even.
