So we are 1-7 and to be honest, let the losing continue. I want a high pick, I want a new PG and I want a new coach. Who's with me??

When Ed Davis comes back I expect big things. He's a beast and I hope Reggie Evans gets cut. Amir - Davis ALL DAY.

DeMar need to get more touches, but he's coming along nicely.

Sonny Weems is playing really well. I see Klieza being a good back-up.

Will Bargnani ever grab more than 8 boards a game?

Ed Davis...again....to good. I think anyway.

    YOUR THOUGHTS NOW!!!

I hope BC realizes that we are going to suck and doesn't make some quick fix trade or give away our pick in the process.

Sonny Weems is great when he plays within himself, but sometimes he goes into MJ mode and just starts chucking.

Triano is getting too much blame this season, have you seen the roster?

Demar is decent but he needs to stop doing same damn spin move

I have never seen Ed Davis play so I can't really say anything about him

BC I don't think will ever admit mistakes, but I'll wait to make my judgement depending on how he uses that trade exception.

I agree with you on Sonny and DeMar, which brings me to my next point...

Can Triano desgin a damn system for fuck sakes. I wanna see roles for the players and something more than run down the court and see what happens. Winning coaches, have a system. We have young guys who are willing to learn who can be shaped in to good players, why not do that.

The lack of a real PG and SYSTEM I think is our greatest down fall.

When Ed Davis plays, you'll know. He's got sky high potential, I think they ratedh im top 3 in potential. I want a stead Johnson - Davis rotation, with Davis probably playing more but either is good with me.

2-7 and a nice win, lets see what happens aginst Miami.

    Re: Early Season Woes

I thought we did fairly well tonight considering its Miami. We definitly played hard but Miami is more talented. Nothing you can do about that.

LOL at Bosh sitting down the stretch. only 21 minutes.

Bosh sitting down made me smile even after seeing the Leafs and Raps lose.

But yea, to much talent and we only lost by 9; good in my books.

I'm continually liking DeMar and his 20+ point games. He's getting stats across the board and Amir is getting comfortable. Great chemistry between the young gunz, which makes losing not so bad.

    2-8 means 10 game win streak...Lets goooooooo!

3-9...alright, I see how it is.

    TRADE JARRET JACK!

Dude is a garbage PG straight up. Shoot first, pass third type deal.

Sonny Weems looking like this is his team. Taking the ball and going with it. Great game by Bargs aswell and we need to see more of that.
When guys start finding their role, I think we should expect to see more wins.

I want Sonny + DeMar + Bargs + Johnson starting. That can make some noise if they're on.

    TRADE JARRET JACK!

8-14, what can I say. Better than I expected with a team I like more than I thought I would.

    MASTER SHAKE'S RAPTOR TEAM ASSESSMENT

    PG

Jose Calderon - Since the trading of JJ we've seen a huge upgrade on Jose's game. Not so much on defense, but on the offensive side he's getting very talkative and seems to be doing a good job leading the offense. However, he lacks what I think the Raptors current back-up PG posses.

    MARK - B + ....Needs to get better a D.

Jarred Bayless- Instantly become one of my favorite players because a) was traded for JJ b) can get to the rim as easy as an PG. Bayless is one quick guy, along with having good control of the ball and the game. He can get to the line EASY, plus he can hit the 3 or mid-range jumper hand or no hand in his face. While he isn't the best defender, his quickness makes up for it. Jose just can't keep up with most guards, Bayless; can keep up with anyone. I would like to see the Raptors bring Alvin Williams & Bayless together so AW can show JB how it's done.

MARK - A - .....New to the team, but has massive upside. Yet to really hurt the Raps.

DeMar DeRozan - 2nd year in the league and while I think he development is a little slower than I wanted, it could be right as it should. He's starting to attack the rim more consistently, and I'm sure he's always working on his jumper. In rebuttal to what deceptions' Gerald Green comparison, DeMar for sure has a lot more to his game and his overall skill set is a lot higher than Green's. By the all-star break, DeMar will be averaging at least 12 PPG and if the Raps find some good chemistry, he'll be crucial for a playoff run. DeMar is still learning on both ends of the floor, but to me has shown a lot more good than bad. He's 20-21? Next season I expect huge things from D-squared. He's got the drive, passion and skills to be an all-star and perennial superstar. Watch out NBA.

MARK - B +.....Woulda of gave him less but he's my favorite Raptor. However, really needs to find a consistent game; but that will come within the next year or so.

Barbosa- Not much changes about his game from PHX to TOR. Brings energy, likes to handle the ball and will never really hurt you when he has the ball. He sometimes tries to bail himself out if he can't get to the rim but throwing some dumb jumping pass, but that doesn't happen to often. I'd like to see Barbosa slash more kinda like Rip, cause he can hit the jumper but is a lot quicker. I think a nice screen in the key, pass to Barbosa (foul line extended - either side); eputs up the jumper, goes to the rim or dishes.

MARK - A - ....Not playing bad, not 6th man of the year great either. I wanna see some better decisions made, but overall is a better player than Hedo. So AMEN!

Sonny Weems - Seems to be along the same schedule as DeMar. However, has a better jump shot. Sonny really needs to be more involved in the offense, but not in a sense he's shooting jumpers. DeMar / Sonny could very well be a Kobe / Artest type duo. Obviously Sonny nor DeMar are even close to that skill, but the idea is the same. If Sonny can develop in to a better defender, the offense will just come to him. He'll get the open shots, he'll be able to get to the rim. I really want Bruce Bowen brought in, as dirty as he was; he was still a great defender. If Sonny can become a high-quality defensive player; the Raptors will have their own Bowen / Artest which the team has yet to see in the past 10 years.

MARK - B - .....Alright so far, but again; no consistency. Step it up Sonny!!!

Linas Klieza - Fuck em, trade his ass.

MARK - F....Hedo 2.0. THE PRICE IS WRONG BITCH!
