What do you all think of this?

I think Minni is about to implode and Brooklyn may look to clean house and reboot.
Does this push us into contender status knowing we have all our picks to also add young future talent?

    upload_2023-4-11_7-4-23.png

    Dame/Mayes/ Keon
    Sharpe/Thybulle/Reddish
    Bridges/Reddish/Knox
    Grant/Knox
    Gobert/Drew

need more help in the front court but i think that's more balanced. Lick into the number one, draft Wemby and that solves the front court depth issues.

Fyi. Realistic was supposed to be in green font. I think we need something fun for this spring. ;)

Can’t S&T Winslow and package if we’re over the cap, I believe.

Nba trade machine said I can!!!!!!

Swap him for Reddish or Knox then. Or do they have the same provisions?

Blazers can send out Winslow in sign and trade, but acquiring team has to be under the tax. Unless anything is changing with new CBA.

Knox would be more likely to be traded since it's a team option, and no luxury tax restrictions. It's much less likely Winslow or Reddish are sent out as you need 3 parties to agree.

Minnesota would love this trade. New jersey would not consider it for a second. In fact, if all five Blazers and Mike Conley were going to them, they still would not consider it. (OK, so I guess you are saying you are just having fun?)

For fun. But i thought it fairly realistic. Toss in a future first or two to Brooklyn

It took literally 1 fucking post to obliterate the word realistic.

You think thats unrealistic even with using future firsts?

Pass on Goober. Rather have Christian Wood. Coach Billy Goat hardly played him after relegating him to bench minutes behind Alfred E Neuman( Dwight Powell), and Maxi Kleber. He's an UFA. Maybe sign & trade with Dallas with Nurk going to play with Luka.

    It's beyond awful for Brooklyn.

Simons has to being going to the Nets with the 2nd overall pick in the Draft to make that a possibility. People can poopoo that the Nets aren't trading Bridges all they want, but i, and others, see the Nets wanting a more Flashy, lower salaried player like Scoot to lead them into the next decade.

I know it's not popular at the moment, but sign me up for Gobert if I can essentially swap Nurk for him+assets (I know we'd need extra salary to match). For all of Gobert's warts and risk, it's hard not to argue that he'd immediately upgrade us defensively and act a vertical floor spacer on offense. We could then flip those acquired assets with Ant (and maybe another Blazer first or two) for a wing upgrade while keeping Sharpe and our lotto pick. Whether that's Bridges/OG/Brown/Siakam/etc.It's a dream scenario, and we would need a three-team trade to make it happen. We'd also need Utah to be willing to pull the plug and admit completely failure on Gobert less than a year after mortgaging their entire future on him.

I like the proposed idea as a general framework: Nurk + Ant = Gobert + wing upgrade, but it does still seem incredibly unlikely that we'd find the willing partners.

If there's a way to get Harris back in the deal as well, that would solve the dead eye shooter off the bench the Blazers need as well. Seth Curry would be nice, but he's an UFA.

Beyond horrible for Brooklyn. Bridges is a young two way stud

No way i give up any assets for Goober other than Nurk, period. Maybe a cheese sandwich, and a bag of chips to be named later.

Not if we get the 2nd overall pick, and send it with Ant.

I think you misread me. WE get the assets from Minnesota in the swap of Nurk and Gobert that we then send on to a third party with Ant.
