<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The window of opportunity for Zeljko Rebraca to succeed with the Pistons might be closing -- and could create an opening for Darko Milicic to get playing time.

Starting for the injured Ben Wallace, who was out with a sore ankle Tuesday, Rebraca flopped in nine minutes of action -- none in the second half -- in the Pistons' 97-91 loss at Sacramento.

Rebraca, in the final year of his contract, had one point and one rebound. He was 0-for-2 from the field and committed a foul.

Afterward, coach Larry Brown said: "He looked like he was on his deathbed."

Not exactly a ringing endorsement for more playing time.

Mehmet Okur, who took just six shots from the field and had 16 points and nine rebounds, started the second half while Rebraca sat.

With Rebraca wavering, Brown turned to the rookie Milicic in the second quarter.

The Pistons rallied to within two, and the 7-footer contributed two blocked shots.

He is still looking for his first points in the NBA.

"He was good," said Brown, who has made a point of not rushing the 18-year-old.

If Rebraca has played his way out of the rotation, that would leave room for Brown to play Milicic.

What happened to this guy... for a while he was a big spark for the Pistons, and then suddendly fell of the face of the earth...

Can't really judge a man's ability off 9 mins, with a basketball mind like Larry Browns or not.
