http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-09-30/hacked-recording-hillary-mocks-bernie-supporters-living-their-parents’-basement Clinton then went on to explain why she felt so many Democratic voters, many of whom "live in their parents' basement" were gravitating to Sanders. Ironically, for a presidential candidate that touts the economic recovery the US is going through, she admits these "children of the Great Recession" don't see much of a future... Some are new to politics completely. They’re children of the Great Recession. And they are living in their parents’ basement. They feel they got their education and the jobs that are available to them are not at all what they envisioned for themselves. And they don’t see much of a future. In one segment of the leaked audio, Hillary focused on her opponent at the time, Bernie Sanders, was pointed to successful programs in Scandinavia which provide universal daycare, family leave, and government sponsored healthcare and college education, as policies that he would seek to adopt. "Progressive" Hillary mocked the compared idea of "free college, free healthcare" to the "extreme" ideas promulgated by the right, which include "populism, nationalism and xenophobia." It is important to recognize what’s going on in this election. Everybody who’s ever been in an election that I’m aware of is quite bewildered because there is a strain of, on the one hand, the kind of populist, nationalist, xenophobic, discriminatory kind of approach that we hear too much of from the Republican candidates. And on the other side, there’s just a deep desire to believe that we can have free college, free healthcare, that what we’ve done hasn’t gone far enough, and that we just need to, you know, go as far as, you know, Scandinavia, whatever that means, and half the people don’t know what that means, but it’s something that they deeply feel. So as a friend of mine said the other day, I am occupying from the center-left to the center-right. And I don’t have much company there. Because it is difficult when you’re running to be president, and you understand how hard the job is — I don’t want to overpromise. I don’t want to tell people things that I know we cannot do.
Is the point of this to make me like her? If she'd just lean a little more towards the xenophobia I'd vote for her. Here is an example of irrational thinking that I find completely rational. Years ago my wife had an employee who had HIV. We were all at a bar and this girl asked my wife what beer she had. My wife said Newcastle and handed her the glass to take a sip. She did, said she loved it and went to the bar to get one. We sat down and I took my wife's glass from her. I waited a few minutes and then poured it in a giant plant. My wife asked why and I told her. I said I know, there may be no chance you will get HIV, it might be zero. Or it might be 1 in 1 million trillion. I also know that there is NO chance if you don't share a six dollar beer with someone with HIV. I don't share my drinks with anyone who isn't family anyway. Just the thought of it is worse than not sharing and not having to think about it. So, that's why I adamantly propose xenophobia. Make up a big word that sounds scary, don't care. It is like Trump and taxes, it makes me smart.
The point is if it were Trump or Romney, it would be headlines for days and 24/7 on the cable news for weeks.
"xenophobia" is lefty code word. It is also a ridiculous word used by the left to hang a pejorative label on a person. All other rational people find nothing unreasonable about avoiding unnecessary risk.
She used some interesting words to describe herself, like "bewildered" and "wet blanket" toward idealism. She can't understand those who think that "what we've done hasn't gone far enough." The social guarantees in the U.S. are zilch. She's a Republican through and through. Prepare for an Iraq-sized war in Syria. https://theintercept.com/2016/09/30/hillary-clinton-center-right/
^ Textbook Kellyanne Conway rebuttal ^ That's not what you said in the past. You're not going to manipulate Fez.
The fox news banner said she was talking smack about millennials. They must want me to vote for her with that line.
You're the one voting for Trump. I suspect you won't admit it because you are self-loathing. See how that works?
Doesn't seem to have worked well for you. Try again, this time without making 1000 posts defending Trump. barfo
