Good content, I find it kind of interesting you dont have Minnesota in that list even without Butler, KATs still young and improving and we have to assume they’ll get something back for Butler. I think they’ll be in the mix, but I get what you’re saying.
Nice Bones! I especially like the little blurb at the end about how that guy thinks you are about to take off!
They were definitely worse without butler, but they also now get a full training camp without him, and I assume they’ll get something somewhat decent im return too.
They might, Im not saying you’re wrong. I think personally Id put them at the bottom of the mix like with the clippers? I guess I just thought that particular comment was interesting, obviously a lot rides on what they get back for Butler. I also think KATs at the age where he’s not anywhere close to done getting better. We’ll see Minnesota’s interesting they sure have a circus right now.
KAT needs help though, regardless.. and right now, he has Butler and a bunch of average to below average players.
Well there’s still some talent on that team, Teagues a solid PG, Taj is a good role player, Wiggins has definitely not lived up to the lofty expectations and hype buts he’s a decent wing. I actually see them and the Pelicans and the Blazers as very similar theyve got one really good player where you know what youre gonna get a 2nd guy who’s good but not great and you never know what to expect from the rest of the roster. Unfortunately at this point I dont think KAT’s as good as Dame or AD.
Compare Teague to other starting PGs in the league.. He's average at best. Below average in the west. I don't think people realize just how bad Wiggins has been... he's been horrible, not decent. Inefficient, a horrible defender, doesn't pass or rebound, plays with no heart (which can negatively affect his teammates). Just look at his advanced stats.. He's a replacement player, and average at best. Jusuf Nurkic and Seth Curry would be their 2nd best player. Seth is as good as Jeff Teague. Shoot, Harkless and Aminu would possibly be their 2nd best player, and would be their 3rd best player. They're better than Wiggins right now and Jeff Teague? Eh...
Teague has definitely aged and was never great to begin with just ok. Harkless and Aminu play like 15-20 good games a year their advanced stats look better than wiggins because they are NEVER the 2nd or even 3rd option. They’re an afterthought. Wiggins actually has to play against teams who are trying to play defense on him. I agree wiggins hasnt been good but I still think overall he’s better than Harkless and if he played with Dame and CJ and Nurk would end up having better advanced stats than he has in Minnesota.
Their advanced stats look better than Wiggins because they're good defenders while Wiggins is horrible. Yeah, their efficiency would take a hit in a bigger role but at least they could space for Towns and provide better shooting next to him. He's not better than Harkless at all. If he played with Dame and CJ he'd look better but he'd still be bad, and our defense would take a huge hit (and I don't think our offense would get better)... He'd just take away shots from those two. Yes, he could figure it out and turn into an all-star which might be a reason he'd be a good pickup, but I don't think he'd immediately make us better.
Well it depends on the game for Harkless when he decides he’s interested he’s good. There seems to be about 40-50 games a year he might as well not even be out there...
Do you want me to namedrop the forum every time I get interviewed or appear on a podcast or segment? Haha.
There goes Torey, you gotta grease his head so he can get in the door... Jesus... All this bragging is gonna make me quit the forum... This is some bullshit.... He's always rubbing it in... Lol! Good shit bro!
Great Interview and I agree with your comments about the team. I didn't really know you were a Zag fan?
