Marcus Thornton doesn't do much well. He's not good at finishing at the rim. He's not a good defender (though he has games where he gives good effort). He doesn't have explosiveness or good size for his position. But that dude can shoot, which is why the Houston Rockets picked him up on a one-year, minimum contract deal on Sunday, via Yahoo Sports. The Rockets had the highest percent of their shots as 3-point attempts last season, 39.2 percent via NBA.com, but ranked just 14th in 3-point percentage. The Rockets want to bomb from deep, but that becomes a losing proposition if you don't have, you know, shooters. - See more at:http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...-add-shooter-marcus-thornton-on-one-year-deal
